Rehabilitation Center for Diabetic Children was opened in 2008. On November 14th. A laboratory (to determine glycohemoglobin) was located in the "A" wing of the building; Insulin storage refrigeration unit; Warehouse of various medicines and analytical-technical means (on the first floor), service offices provided by the state program for diabetic patients and their parents and administration of the state program (2nd, 3rd floors). On the 4th floor there is a small assembly hall for 60 people. The central part of the building and the "B" wing are mainly used for sports and recreational activities. Namely: on the ground floor of the building there are fitness centers equipped with the latest equipment (with their dressing rooms); On the first floor of the building there is a main gym, dressing rooms, a doctor's office and special facilities for people with disabilities; The second floor is dedicated to the sports cafe; On the third floor there is a rehabilitation center administration and deliberation rooms; On the fourth floor there is a large assembly hall equipped with modern computer, audio and digital equipment, where it is possible to hold various meetings (scientific conferences, seminars, presentations). The hall can accommodate 220 people. The building has a well-maintained yard with technical blocks (heating, electricity, diesel generator) and a ramp of international standards for people with disabilities. For the latter, a special elevator is installed in the "B" wing of the building, which will allow them to get to the desired floor without any problems. Since its opening, the Rehabilitation Center has successfully implemented a state program for the treatment and rehabilitation of children and adolescents with diabetes.
